Job Title:  Chocolatier

Position Summary: Working as part of a Self Managed Team, the Bakery Development Coach will be responsible for all Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis infused products.  They will have the ability to understand individuals’ learning needs and enhance both their knowledge and performance. In addition, they will work with individuals on a one to one basis providing both verbal and written feedback, while enhancing quality and production.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be able to temper white, dark, and milk chocolates with and without inclusions

  • Able to use tempering and en robing equipment including preventative maintenance

  • Able to problem solve and use critical thinking when obstacles arise

  • Able to plan, coordinate, and execute production with little supervision

  • Follow all sanitation guidelines set by company and regulators

  • Other duties as assigned by Corporate chef, Operations manager, or Production Development coach.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • 2 years Pastry and chocolate experience (with culinary degree)

  • 5 years Pastry and chocolate experience (without culinary degree)

  • Experience working in a cGMP environment

  • Proficient in algebra

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility of schedule (able to work early morning or overnight shifts, shift differential maybe available)

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds

  • May include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.

Extraction Development Coach

Job Title:  Extraction Development Coach

Position Summary: Working as part of a Self Managed Team, the Extractions Development Coach will have a high level of expertise in extraction processes, types and relevance of products and communication skills. They will have the ability to understand individuals’ learning needs and enhance both their knowledge and performance. In addition, they will work with individuals on a one to one basis providing both verbal and written feedback, while enhancing quality and production.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats

  • Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures

  • Must understand and comply with typical laboratory standards

  • Must be familiar with OSHA guidelines for dealing with hazardous chemicals

  • Complete training for new hires

  • Work with Operations Manager and staff to identify who would benefit from additional coaching and training

  • Implementing learning strategies and supporting staff in soft skill areas

  • Drawing up agreed action plans with learners, outlining the aims of the coaching, and monitoring of progress

  • Working with other Development Coaches and Teams to identity and implement development best practices

  • Training delivery in a classroom environment and on a one to one basis

  • Preparing training handouts

  • Enhancing quality and production performance individually and at team level to meet and exceed quality and production targets

  • Preparing both verbal and written feedback reports for Operations Manager

  • Developing in the moment coaching for all associates

  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with fellow team members and others throughout the organization

  • Ensure up to date product and process knowledge is maintained

  • Participate in all trainings provided in relation to: company products, operating systems, processes and procedures, and retain knowledge

  • Fully utilize all training and support materials

  • Display a flexible and co-operative approach at all times

  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Job Title:  Production Assistant

Position Summary: We are a high-end cannabis infused product facility located in Denver that is looking for a person with varied production experience. The purpose of the Production Assistant is to assist all our production departments with help when needed. This job position will work in our Bakery, Extractions, Packaging, and Fulfillment departments. The overview of duties will be facility maintenance and upkeep, departmental cleaning, departmental project assistance and other projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring trash and recycling is removed from each department, bathrooms, and break room at the end of day

  • Ensuring Departments are shut down and/or opened properly each day as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Work in Bakery - Weighing cookies/raw dough, preparing ingredients, Washing dishes and equipment and other duties as assigned

  • Work in Extraction Lab - Filling socks, packing columns, cleaning tools and equipment, gramming/weighing product into packages, and other duties as assigned

  • Work in Packaging Department - Bagging product, counting product, labeling, casing, cleaning tools and equipment, and other duties as assigned

  • Work in Warehouse - Picking and pulling orders, Accepting in projects from packaging, Double checks, shelving and equipment cleaning

  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Food service experience

  • Understanding of food safety, OSHA, quality

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's License

  • Valid MED occupational badge

Working Conditions:

This position is Monday - Friday full time. Schedule is to be determined in interview and job offer. In this position you will be subject to work throughout the entire facility indoors and outdoors. You will work with all departments at various points throughout the day and week. You will have to lift and carry heavy items. You will be expected to be on your feet all day if the project requires it and you may be required to sit all day if the project requires it. You will be exposed to and regularly working with most common food allergens (Wheat, Soy, Dairy, Eggs, Tree nuts, and Grounds nuts in all departments). You will be required to hold this position for a minimum of 6 months before being considered for another position within the company.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work standing up for 8 hours

  • Must be able to sit for 8 hours

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
